Game Report: Stick Figures with Ridiculously and Comedically Large Weapons

Game Report: SFRCLW will be an RPG game, modeled after either Sonny or Linion.

Storyline: None yet

Sprite status: Sketches created, no spriting done.

Gameplay: No matter what, SFRCLW will include Turn-Based battle. Whether or not battle will be the only part of the game or just part of it has yet to be determined. If there is gameplay outside of battles, it will be top-down 2.5d-style. When sprites are posted you will see what I mean.

Background: This game just started out as some sketches in my Latin book, but then I realized, "Hey, this could be a cool game!" Also, I've been in a very stick-figure oriented mood lately.

Well, here's yet ANOTHER game idea that I have come up with, a game called: Stick Figures with Ridiculously and Comedically Large Weapons. It will be an RPG, and I am debating whether to have the gameplay be like Sonny (only battles) or like Linion (Battles and adventure). No compelling storyline yet.

In other news, I'm writing full game reports to post on the blog, which will be updated as the games progress. Not like anyone reads the blog yet, but it helps me keep focus...kinda.

Well, epic lack of updates, this time due to my own laziness rather than memory. We've developed a few things for the company:

1. There will be three branches of Omnistudios: Omnistudios (duh), Pixel by Pixel Studios, and a third, currently unnamed branch which we shall call Branch X

Omnistudios will be devoted to creating the Evolution of Gaming (see below).
Pixel by Pixel studios will create spinoffs and sequels for Omnistudios games.
Branch X will create games completely separated from the Evolution of Gaming

2. The Evolution of Gaming (EoG) will be a large series of games, starting at Emotikonz (new game, to be blogged later) and ending with Childhood Heroes. Once sprites are released, you will see what I mean by Evolution of Gaming.

3. Once the EoG is completed, the Omnistudios branch of the company will implode, sucking in the other two branches and recreating a single-branched company simply and obviously called Omnistudios.

In other news, we've started designing a new, title-pending skateboarding game. You control a stick figure going on 3 different types of skating arenas: Pipes, which are half-pipes, quarter pipes, etc, Parks, which are for free-skating and doing tricks, and finally Courses, where you complete the course in as little time as possible.

I'm hoping to start blogging more, but with school it will be hard.

Ugh, no posts in a while.

Forgot my password, and when I went through the forgot password process, it never sent anything to me. Did that about 5 times, then gave up. Finally, 5 minutes ago, I just started guessing. Got it on my second try.

Anyways, I've been focusing my attention more on two upcoming games, Childhood Heroes and Firalias. Childhood Heroes is going to be a semi-unique game where you take the role of a higher power of some sort and control people, much like the FunOrb game Zombie Dawn. Then, Firalias will be an Omnistudios take on the Pokemon series. Mockups, larger descriptions, etc. will be posted soon.

Tales of Omniseptia is a moderately Latin-heavy game, planned to be the first game to be created. It puts three young heroes, Jared, Max, and Eliza, into an adventure to save their country named Omniseptia from evil forces. Jared is a master of elemental Zen and Chi attacks. Our mission is to make games from all genres, and to take ideas for games as well. Most games will be created in a soon-to-come program called Stencyl.
